Sewing Class 9th May-30th May

This class is for Shetland Residents and will take place at the West Mainland Leisure Centre on a Thursday evening from 6-8.45pm from the 9th of May for 4 weeks.

Introduction to Patchwork and Quilting

In this class you will make a table runner and co-ordination hot pad.  You will learn how to make a patchwork star block, how to add sashing, how to assemble an item for quilting and two different methods of finishing your quilted items.

You will also learn how to square blocks and cut using a rotary cutter and self healing mat.

At the end of the course you should have all the skills to make your own quilt.

Once you have purchased a place on the class you will be emailed a booking confirmation with a list of equipment to take to the class.
