Did you know that Uphouse Crafts has a Facebook page and group? You might think they are just the same, but they aren’t. The main page is like a storefront, it has all the information on products and where you can buy them. The group is more relaxed with a community vibe to it.
In the group we have a couple of events each week. On a Monday we have Maakin Monday. In Shetland ‘maaking’ is the knitting you are working on, but in our group it’s more whatever creative or crafty thing you or your family are working on. Once the post goes up around 6-7am everyone that wants to enter comments it’s pictures of the project they are currently working on. We all then vote using like , love etc. The comment picture with the most likes/reactions on Tuesday at 9am is declared the winners. The winner gets a 15% exclusive discount code for UphouseCrafts.com. Everyone also gets entered into a prize draw to win a small prize each month. Our June winner got a keyring and matching coaster.
We also have a competition on Wednesday for who gets to have their picture featured as the group banner picture for the next week. Similar to maakin Monday the post goes out between 6-7am and the picture with the most likes/reactions by 9am on Thursday is featured in the group banner picture for the next week.
Each week there are more people who are joining in and interacting with each other.
The group is also open for members to ask advice on any craft related content.
I also like to ask the group for feedback on new products. The constructive and honest responses are so helpful in creating products that will be well received.
